Write creatively but with feeling
Much of the thrill of creative writing is being able to just start writing about whatever you want. However, a good writer will always base their main theme or idea around something that evokes a strong emotion within them.
Whether it be a past experience, something you’ve seen on television or read about in the news or any other source of inspiration, writing about something you’re passionate about can add real depth to your work.
A good tip for gathering creative writing inspiration is to carry around a small notepad at all times and write down interesting things that you see or feel in your everyday life. Then when you sit down to start writing you’ll have all sorts of things to get you going.
Writing with power and purpose is a skill that not every writer can achieve and it’s an almost impossible task without the right inspiration.
Good creative writing is using strong emotions and thoughts from everyday life and combining it with unique ideas. If you can accomplish this, you won’t go far wrong.
